We are so proud of our school!

As a result of our efforts in last year’s Second Harvest Hero campaign our school community has been awarded the Ian Lawson Van Toch Outstanding Award for Youth. The award is presented to an outstanding young person or group, under the age of 21, who has demonstrated leadership and commitment to community service and supported the work of Second Harvest.

The Giles School placed in the top 20 fundraisers for the Hero campaign, raising $5011.85 for food rescue and collecting over 300lbs of fresh food for Second Harvest. Congratulations to all and a special thank you to Shawna Pereira for organizing and driving the campaign.
