Junior Education for Grades 4 to 8
Pushing their limits and gaining more confidence
By the end of Grade 4, English and French proficiencies are both spoken, written and read with comfort and ease. As students continue into their junior years, French and English instruction share equal importance.
Math and Science are taught by a team comprising the homeroom teacher and specialist to prepare students for secondary school and international exams.
In Grades 4 to 8, iPads are a part of daily school life. They’re used inside the classroom and for homework assignments.
Grade 4-8 Students take distinct leadership courses. The Grade 6-8 classes are currently working on “Be Incredible”, which combines character education and service learning: Click here to view this resource: https://www.dropbox.com/s/302l1zfs5ktjnny/Be%20Incredible%20copy%202.pdf?dl=0 (Be Incredible)
Class excursions for our junior students are extensive. To enhance their curricula, students have visited.Stratford, Ottawa, Boston, Montréal and Québec City to engage in intellectual, multicultural, for musical and artful experiences.
