GRADES 1–3 VISIT THE LIVING ARTS CENTRE IN MISSISSAUGA

On January 16, our Grades 1–3 students visited the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga for a hands-on art workshop that invited creativity, focus, and exploration. Guided by professional art educators, students learned basic clay techniques while shaping and refining their own animal-inspired sculptures. The experience supported fine motor development, artistic expression, and confidence, while also reinforcing the value of process over perfection.

This trip reflected our commitment to experiential learning, giving students the chance to connect classroom learning with real-world artistic practice. It was a meaningful day of creativity, curiosity, and community beyond the school walls.
