GRADE 6 FIELD TRIP TO TORONTO CITY HALL

On January 13, our Grade 6 students joined peers from our sister school, Webtree Academy, for a meaningful morning of experiential learning at Toronto City Hall. This shared field trip offered students a firsthand look at how local government works and how civic leadership shapes our community.

During their visit, students explored key spaces within City Hall and learned about the roles and responsibilities of municipal leaders. A highlight of the day was visiting the Mayor’s Office, where students had the opportunity to ask thoughtful questions and better understand how decisions are made at the city level.

Learning alongside students from Webtree Academy also reinforced the value of collaboration and shared perspectives. Experiences like this reflect our commitment to hands-on learning, helping students develop curiosity, confidence, and a sense of belonging within the wider community.
