Grade 6 Field Trip to the Aga Khan Museum — Exploring Art, Culture, and Science

On October 28, 2025, Grade 6 students visited the Aga Khan Museum for an inspiring day of exploration and creativity. Through interactive activities and guided gallery tours, students discovered how art, culture, and science come together to tell stories from around the world.

A highlight of the visit was a natural pigment workshop, where students experimented with everyday materials like paprika, turmeric, safflower, and logwood to create vibrant colours. They mixed, tested, and compared shades, learning how natural elements have long been used to make artistic pigments. The session concluded with a colourful display of their artwork and colour studies, showcasing their creativity and the variety of tones they produced.
