GR. 1–3 FIELD TRIP TO WILLOWGROVE FARM, NOV 2025

There’s something special about watching children learn through real experiences.

On November 14, our Grades 1–3 students spent a full day of hands-on discovery at the Willowgrove Farm and Outdoor Education Centre. Guided by educators at the farm, students explored the characteristics and life cycles of several barn animals, learning how each one contributes to a working farm.

A wagon ride through Willowgrove’s woodlot allowed students to experience the quiet beauty of the late-autumn landscape. The visit also included plenty of active play in the spacious hayloft playground, where students climbed, swung, and worked together as they navigated the indoor barn structures.
