BATTLE OF THE BOOKS 2025

The much-anticipated Battle of the Books event brought together eager readers from Grades 4 and 5 in an exciting showdown of literary knowledge, teamwork, and spirited competition! Four teams competed head-to-head in a thrilling trivia-style challenge, demonstrating their deep understanding of a shared selection of novels.

This year's teams included:

  1. The Golden Bookmarks
  2. Away From Keyboards
  3. The Golden Readers
  4. Royal Bookworms

Organized by Ms. Amatullah and Ms. Madeleine, the event celebrated weeks of preparation, collaboration, and a shared love of reading. Students worked together to tackle challenging questions, support their teammates, and engage deeply with the stories they had read.

Congratulations to our 2025 champions, Royal Bookworms, who took home the trophy with their outstanding teamwork and book smarts! The winning team included Aniese Cole, Angelina Katsis, Caelan Yang, Justin Wang, Ada Martin, and Shams Abu Ruja.

From close matches to nail-biting finishes, the Battle of the Books was a memorable celebration of reading, camaraderie, and the joy of storytelling.
