On February 3rd, Mme Rim held the Concours d’Art Oratoire. Mme Amal, Mme Caroline and I were judges. Eighteen students from Grades 4 to 8 were selected by Mme Rim to compete. Topics ranged from Space Tourism, the History of the Automobile, Cleopatra, Philanthropy, the History of the Fast-Food Industry, Terry Fox, Why the World Needs Bees, the Titanic and more. The level of French presentation and vocabulary was impressive. Topics were well-researched and thoughtful. The winners are:
