Send in a lunch with your child or take advantage of the lunch programme which delivers a hot or cold lunch to your child.
Students eat lunch in their classrooms under the supervision of their teachers. Teachers have access to a fridge and microwave. Children must be sent to school with two snacks: one for morning snack time, one for afternoon snack time. Instead of packing a lunch for your child, you may take advantage of Alphabet Kids, the lunch service used by The Giles School.
For about $4.50 a day, your child will be served a hot or cold lunch of your choosing, including treat and drink. This lunch is delivered to the school at lunch time. Whether your child needs to bulk up or reduce their fat intake, Alphabet Kids offers a wide variety of nutritious lunches.
Special birthday lunches are delivered to regular weekly customers, including a loot bag with special treats. Cupcakes and Fruit-Kabobs are available for class parties for $1.00 each.
For details and to sign up, visit the Alphabet Kids website: www.alphabetkids.ca
Please note that on snow days and during the November and March break, Alphabet Kids does not deliver lunches to the school.
