The Giles School is rare in that it combines all-day programme of early learning within the context of a comprehensive French immersion programme.

With students from Pre-K (age 2.5) to Grade 8, The Giles School follows a strict first-come, first-served admissions policy, rejecting standardized tests on the conviction that an approach of early, constant and multi-sensory stimulation, together with an Adlerian philosophy that concentrates on building strong social and interpersonal skills, fashions students of exceptional academic power and exceptional emotional versatility - achievements that are possible not only for the gifted child, not only for the child of means, but for all children.

We are passionately committed to the idea that children can be immersed into the world of learning at a far earlier age than many believe possible. We've seen this immersion yield astounding results: not merely in intellectual performance but also in emotional vibrancy, when conducted within an atmosphere of love and mutual respect. Most importantly, these results will last a lifetime.

Most schools that accept younger children typically operate on a daycare model that give low priority to the type of learning we emphasize. Children have boundless instincts for learning that far surpass conventional expectations.
